Master Sergeant Farell is a master sergeant serving in United Defense Force, which appears in Edge of Tomorrow. He was played by Bill Paxton.
History[]
Early Life[]
Not much is known about Farell's life before Human-Mimic war besides coming from Science Hill, Kentucky.
Operation Downfall[]
Sergeant Farrel met Cage in FOB Heathrow where the latter was labeled as deserter caught impersonating an officer. He then introduced Cage into J-Squad and ordered Griff to keep an eye on him. During the invasion, he gives an inspirational speech to J-Squad and other soldiers inside the Quad Tiltrotor. The aircraft is then hit by a Mimic javelin and they drop on the beach. As Cage relocates with his squad a single mimic claw its way out of the sand and slaughters the entire J-Squad with Sergeant Farell except Cage.
Loop[]
After Cage experiences the same day, he tries to explain it to sergeant Farrel, only to ignore his warnings and in one loop tape his mouth. In another loop, Farell witness as Cage during a training exercise rolls into a truck and dies. After Cage escapes from training exercises he scolds Skinner for letting him out of sight.
Rewind[]
After the rewind, Sergeant Farell presumably still serves in UDF.
